Hello Roadrunners,

We had a great week! We have begun reading the novels from our new units while continuing to work on our writing, spelling, and grammar skills. If you didn’t know, we are currently studying:

Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck (1st, 3rd, 6th)

– We will begin reading Chapter 2, continue working on vocab and grammar, and will look at practice problems that might be seen on the Arizona State Test

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley (4th, 5th, 7th)

We will begin reading section 2 reading of BNW (Chapters 4, 5, 6), continue working on vocab and grammar, and will look at practice problems that might be seen on the ACT Test this spring.

Good luck to all of our Fall Sports teams as the finish off their seasons this weekend!

Winter Sports begin on Monday for HS athletes! Be sure to have all of your forms filled out and make sure you have a valid Sports Physical on file with the school!
